By comparing 2 Thessalonians 1:8,9 with Jude 7, we've seen indication that everlasting destruction is the Everlasting Fire, which is the Curse of the Law; but in this final part, we turn our attention to the word "destruction" in 2 Thessalonians 1:9, which is only used four times. We learn that destruction is the Law giving the churches up to false gospels (snares and nets, etc). Finishing up in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 we also look at "revealed from heaven", the face of the LORD and "power of His glory".

In part 3 we examine the fire that comes out of the mouth of the Wicked and address how it contrasts with the Fire that comes out of the mouth of God, which is the Curse of the Law. Hell - Tartaros - Part 3

Realizing Tartaros was figurative language for the condition of the Wicked being restrained by Christ during the Church-Age, we now begin to investigate the angels being reserved, or restrained there until the "judgment of the great day", which is another name for the Day of the LORD, which refers to the Great Tribulation. So we find the angels, like the Devil in the bottomless pit, are resereved until the time of the Great Tribulation (a past event).

Hell - Tartaros - Part 2

Tying in the angels reserved in Tartaros to the Devil bound in the bottomless pit, we discuss the Devil/Satan/Dragon. We then closely examine the bottomless pit to know what Tartaros is. We find the bottomless pit typified how the Wicked in the churches were restrained from ruling there and killing the Two Witnesses, so long as Christ (the Seal upon the pit) was in the midst restraining. Once Christ left the churches, the restraining of the Wicked within the church-world was gone, allowing the Wicked to triumph there and overcome the saints.

Hell - Tartaros - Part 1

Tartaros is one of the three Greek words translated "hell". Combined with "cast down to" it is Tartaroo, which is found in 2 Peter 2:4 and has a parallel verse in Jude 6. By letting the Bible lead us on "kept not their first estate" and "left their own habitation", We learn that the "angels" are really the false apostles in the churches .

Hell - Soul In Hades - Part 4

Continuing in Jonah 2 we look again at "swallow/belly", "swallowed by the deep", "soul fainting", "cast out of God's sight", "look again toward the holy temple"; etc. Then we go to Psalm 6 to look more at "Soul in Sheol". We conclude that literally Soul in Hades was referring to Christ's body in the tomb but it did not see the corruption of returning to the dust. However, spiritually, the evidence from these four studies lead us to conclude that His body in the tomb was a picture of the elect in the churches (Sheol/Hades) during the first-half of the Great Tribulation. They are taken out of Hades and they do not see the corruption of becoming one with the dust (the churches who are devoured by the dust-eating serpents).

In Jonah 2 we see that Jonah's life was not left in Sheol; it was brought up from corruption. We take a close look in Jonah 2 at "swallow/belly/vomit" to discover the fish is Babylon. We look at "cried to the LORD in affliction and He heard me" and "midst of the sea" among other things.

How does Hades being a name for the Apostate Church harmonize with Christ's life not being left in Hades? To understand Acts 2:27, we must look at its origin verse in Psalm 16, where we'll also be led to Jonah 2, focusing on "not suffering thine Holy One to see corruption".

Looking at Hades, which is one of the three Greek words translated "hell", we see how it is the Greek translation for the Hebrew word, Sheol, which spiriturally we found is a name for the Apostate Church, while literally it likely is the grave. Examining Hades, we see it shares the same spiritual definition as Sheol, which we already picked up on in our study of Hades in Rich Man and Lazarus.

In the final study of Gehenna, we examine the rest of the usages of Gehenna (Valley of Hinnom) in the Greek text. The result is that through careful examination of these verses we find complete harmony with our previous findings that Gehenna (Hinnom) is the Apostate Church and nothing but.

The triple Greek word connection of "hour" "is come" and "damnation" is only found in three places, compelling us to realize the hour of damnation is the Great Tribulation. In this study we look at the spiritual meaning of "graves" and how coming out of the graves ties in with Christ gathering His elect from the four winds in Matthew 24, which is figurative language of Christ gathering the elect out of the churches at the depart out.

Studying Gehenna, we stumble upon a description of the Second Death. We review the Lake of Fire since it is described as the Second Death; and we find that Babylon's second fall (fallen is fallen) is tied to the Lake of Fire: Fallen (one death) is Fallen (second death).
